Scharmyn Park is about 12 acres and includes three ballfields with a variety of ample seating and a concession stand, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a picnic pavilion and two playgrounds -- one for older children and one for those under the age of 9. The ball fields are home to the West View Ross Athletic Association. The park is tucked away in a residential area. Access it by turning onto Bernice Street from Babcock Boulevard. Small green signs above street names (easy to miss if you're not looking for them) will point the way.
