Some vitals:

1. I'm a 30-something year old big kid.
2. I'm a glass-is-half-full kind of girl. I always try to look on the bright side of things and keep a positive outlook. There is too much negativity in the world.
3. I have a voracious appetite for knowledge. I must know everything.
4. History is a big passion of mine. It doesn't matter if it's the kind in textbooks, memoirs or personal history -- it's all intriguing and I'm always curious to know. If you were to invite me over to your house, I would (with permission sometimes!) beeline to your old photo albums and flip through old family photos. I am also very interested in World War II, The Gilded Age and the 1950s-1960s.
5. I am brimming with trivia and useless knowledge. For example: I am a self proclaimed expert on the Curse of Tippecanoe. 
6. I love photographing everything. And sometimes writing about it.
7. I swing to the left. Way left.
