New Holy Trinity Church Construction Nearly Complete

The church has been holding services at the former Northway Elementary School on Brown's Lane in Ross for the past few years.

The new $8 million Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is nearly complete at the corner of Babcock Boulevard and Cumberland Road in McCandless, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Opening ceremonies are planned for June 22.

Then, the public will have an opportunity to tour the new church from 2 to 6 p.m. July 28. The open house will include live music and Greek food.

And for those of you who aren't Greek Orthodox, you might be interested in the Greek food festival planned from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1.
